I get called when something important is happening and the owner needs someone they trust inserted into the situation. Someone who can represent their interests, handle difficult situations, and carry some of the burden that comes with ownership.

That kind of role requires real trust. You have to know I will be direct, protect the confidence, and handle sensitive matters with discretion.

These situations rarely stay inside one department. They may involve an ownership transition, a sensitive internal conflict, or another issue that touches several parts of the business at once.

You already have attorneys, accountants, bankers, consultants, executives, and talented people around you. My role is different. I can be brought into whichever part of the organization needs attention, work alongside the people already there, and stay with the issue until it is handled.

The best work comes through ongoing relationships. Over time, I come to understand the business, the people, the personalities, and what matters to you. That context allows me to be useful quickly when the next situation develops.

I work with a small number of clients so I can know their businesses, maintain their confidence, and be available when I am needed.
